Who is AirVault for?

AirVault is a built for individuals, families, and content teams, who deal with a lot of data. AirVault is a super fast collaborative centralized storage that connects to all your devices at the same time, and allows for easy storing, managing, and retrieving of data.

Why not just use iCloud or Google Drive?

AirVault offers super fast data access through your local network, as well as through the internet, without the need for a recurring subscription fee. AirVault is not only economical in the long run, but also multiple magnitudes faster at everything.

I don't have technical expertise, can I use AirVault?

Yes! AirVault is designed to be easy to use for everyone, with a simple and intuitive interface. You don't need to be a tech expert to use AirVault. Simply plug it in, follow the setup guide, and you're good to go.

What happens if I run out of storage on AirVault?

AirVault is upgradable. If you run out of storage, you can simply upgrade your drives to ones with a larger capacity or add a new one. Our upgrade guide is intuitive and easy to follow.

How can I protect my data from data loss?

AirVault offers features like ZFS RAID that protect your data from hardware failure, Cloud backups and buddy backups, where you and a friend can encrypt your data and store on each other's device, protecting your data from data loss. We recommend having at least 3 copies of your data, in 2 locations, and keeping 1 of the backups offsite.

Is AirVault a NAS?

Yes! AirVault is just like a NAS. However, unlike traditional NAS, AirVault is designed to be simpler, more user friendly, and come with a lot of required features and securities out of the box. This means that you are no longer required to learn or worry about the technical details, and can rely on AirVault to deliver what is promised.

Can I buy AirVault today?

AirVault is not currently available for purchase. However, you can sign up for our waitlist and join our community to gain access to our open source software releases, allowing you to turn your old computers and laptops into AirVault today.
